COMMUNITY COUNCIL PAYS TRIBUTE TO COLIN McPHAIL
In a ceremony at Dalgety Bay Library in late November the Community Council paid tribute to its former chairman Colin McPhail with a special presentation. Colin, who was a Community Councillor for 34 years and Chairman for 28 years until March last year, was presented with a commemorative engraved whisky decanter in appreciation of his long community service in the town. Roy Green, CC Secretary said that despite a stroke several years ago, Colin had continued to act as Chairman of the Community Council, and had been awarded the MBE for both his public service work and his contribution to the community over many years.
